Peacock eel

I just recently got a peacock eel, it stays buried under the sand and I have yet to see it eat. Does anyone have any experience with eels? What should i feed it and how?

I have not personally had this kind of eel but eels in general take awhile to adjust.

Also try spot feeding it with long tweezers. Black worms or red worms work well.

They tend to do that. Usually stick their heads out though.
At night time they are more active.
I use to spot feed mine with long tweezers and live food.
Eventually he started to come out and eat with everyone else
