Plant Turning Brown?

I just got this plant last week and it was doing fine. Then once I added a CO2 system the top leaves started turning brown around the veins.

Tank specs:
29G
Dual bulb t5HO (6700 and 10000K)
Aquasun LEDHO w/ plant module
Eco complete substrate
Paintball CO2 setup

I dose flourish excel daily and just started adding flourish and flourish iron yesterday


Is this a bad sign for the plant?
 
10000 k is very high and may be to much, common problem I believe.
 
Yea i was under the impression 10,000k was ok for planted tanks too. If you go on buildmyled.com (specialist lighting for planted and salt tanks) they sell a 10,000k option under their planted tank section.

If i was going to guess i'd say your fertilisation isn't sufficient. Those liquid ferts are really pretty weak
 
What species of plant is that? Perhaps your light is really intense, coupled with CO2, your plant could be developing anthocyanin pigment closest to the light source.

It's not the color temperature. 10,000k is okay for planted tanks. Plus, the OP is also using a 6700K with it. In high tech tanks where CO2 and high light are present, even medium light, depending on how far those top leaves are from the light, certain plants can "color up" with red hues from anthocyanin pigment. Helps the plant reflect the red wavelength in order to absorb more blue.. like a sun tan.

Spot on!! I completely agree with this. Ive been doing a lot of research on this very topic. Well more into how to colour up red plants to their full potential. This is the effect my research was based upon where you try to simulate this
 
Only thing i can find looks remotely like it is Gymnocoronis Spilanthoides
Im no good at identifying though so its probably wrong
