I have water wisteria and moneywort that is growing great. Do I cut below the roots and stick it in the gravel. I am new to planted tanks.

Are you talking about trimming your current plants and replanting?

yes, They are getting too tall for the tank.

Yes you can cut right below leaf node where the roots are showing and replant...make sure to remove leafs from stem section that will be in substrate
