platy fry

I have all my platy fry in my old 10g tank but I was wondering if I should take out the. Gravel and just leave it bare? I think the fry are only about 2 weeks old and I have one that's a month old now

I keep my fry in a bare bottom tank, much easier to clean and safer for the fry.

I have a platy fry tank and it has gravel and nothing wrong or anything. I just have gravel cuz it looks good and I has gravel before it came a fry tank

From what I've heard and read gravel is not so good for frytanks. When frightened they tend to dive into the cracks and crevices in between the gravel and have a tendency to become trapped.

If they are already in the tank with gravel, I would leave them. At least until they get a little bigger. At this time there are probably quite a few hiding out in the gravel.
