Please help!!!!!!!

my iridescent shark turned pale-ish white and red he now has a white skin-ish substance dangling (peeling) off of him and getting all over the tank he will not eat and is acting very indifferent I have looked all over the internet and can not find another id shark that looks like this and I really don't think its ick because I have had that problem before any help would be greatly appreciated really don't want him to die but iv done all I can I don't know what's wrong
he's in a 75 gallon tank he is about 7 inches long my ph. is 7.2 temp- 76f
