Plecos eating paint off decorations

My 2 common Plecos and my Mbuna's started going to town on my fake logs and noticed they are chewing on the fake greenery (paint) on them. Should I be worried? I have not noticed any ill effects on them, been like a month or so since it started. These came like this, I did not paint them. Maybe it's time to throw some real wood in there?

They'll be fine, mine did the same thing. Real wood is a much better alternative.

Find real DW at a pond or creek,soak in a tub to check for tannias then poor boiling water over it
