pls help/advice for electric blue jack dempsey

I've got a young electric blue jack dempsey, about 1 1/2 to 2 inches. This guy is quite selective when he eats (if he eats at all) and I've tried numerous things like brine shrimp and blood worms. He's kind of timid and antisocial and I'm just concerned for his well being. Sometimes it looks as if he's searching for food in the rocks at the bottom but then he'll spit it out. Anyway, if anyone has any advice or has any experience with this fish please let me know.

No expert on dempseys but my frontosas are picky eaters. I would suggest trying different foods till you find one it likes. My frontosas will only NLS and live earthworms. All other foods I've tried just gets spit out.

Try frozen thawed bloodworms, mine was really picky when I first got him also. I honestly think it was mostly that he was just scared all the time, he's a big sissy.
