Possible Ich. Want to treat with heat. Is it safe?

Awesome! If you do have to increase oxygenation you can take the water level down slightly on your next water change to let the filter return splash a little more...but it sounds like you have it pretty well covered. Getting the temp up and stable without overly stressing your fishy friends is sometimes the hardest part (besides watching and wishing you could do more) :fish2:
 
I had a similar question. Small QT tank with some mollies. From what I can tell, they should be kept in the 75-82 degree range. Is it OK to take them up to 86 while treating for ich?
 
My balloon mollies are loving it at 86 deg.
also my tiger barbs, last night is the first time ive seen mating behavior in them
