Hi all I am thinking about starting a small sw tank. The plan is a pair of clowns, a couple of anemones a clean up crew and some corals. Not sure which yet. What would be the smallest size tank I could use to get the best out of this. Any suggestion of lr quantity lighting and maybe a total minimum estimate of price etc would be fantastic many thanks

I would think that a 55 gallon at least for a couple of anenomes. BTW the anenomes need at least a one year old tank. A mature and stable tank is needed.

There are several lighting choices you could go with, but LED would be the best bet. 2 LED units would fully cover the tank and you could get both for ~400 bucks. They wouldn't require any maintenence for 10 years, where T5HO and MH would need their bulbs replaced every 6 months. When I replaced my T5HO bulbs, it costs me 200 bucks.
