Power outage on my filter

Hi,

Do you guys know how long the bacteria in my filter could live for if there has been no flow due to a power outage? A family member unplugged it by mistake and it was roughly 24 hours before I noticed. I really don't want to go through a full cycle with a tank full of fish!!!
