My power went out yesterday around 3 PM. It was still out this morning (9:00 AM). I didn't remove or stop my CO2 because I figured it would be back on.

How long until it becomes a big problem?

Sorry for not replying sooner. I guess it's a little late now unless *gasp* your power is still off. I'm guessing it is back on and things are back to normal. How did it work out for you?

Everything was ok. My power was out for about 24 hours.

I have little screw type control valves in my co2 lines from the bottle to the tank. I ended up just closing them mostly off, and unscrewing the cap slightly to let some of the co2 escape so that the bottles didn't explode.

My plants grew about 2 inches in the dark. crazy style. But my fish are ok. They were a bit chilly when the power finally kicked back on tho.

The water level in my tank went down a lot too. i let it run low overnight to offgas anything that might be high in the tank, then set the water back to the top, and turned the co2 back on.

EDIT: oh, and thank you for checking in and replying, travis.
