Powerhead question

Ok, so I am wanting to add powerhead to my 55 gallon tank, I figure the loaches would appreciate the extra circulation. Now, the problem come in with my current tank divder (see pic below). Could I use 2, one on each side, or would that be too much? What GPH would you guys recommend if i were to use two? Also, could I run them both after I take the divider down, or would I be better off moving one to another tank? Thanks for any advice guys!

you could use basicly any GPH you want its just a preference but i would definitly use a small one (or two) if you dont want to turn your tank into a wirlpool!
