Would you recommend it? No? Why? Boyfriend used it in the Discus tank as a preventative and now everyone is out of whack.

It's supposed to be a decent preventative and not supposed to harm other fish or plants but I would've done that in a QT. And I ONLY would've used it as a med IF I saw the need. They should've been in a QT for at least 2-4 weeks and preferably 6. But I think I said that in one of your other threads.

I wasnt that big of a fan of the idea but he did it anyway. Just going to do some big water changes and clear out most of it asap hopefully. The fish were all doing great too?

+1 on the WC's. Also I would put carbon in the filter for two of the WC's and then remove it going forward. With daily, large volume WC's, there's no need for carbon. And I'd make him sleep on the couch for a night or two, lol.
