Protein Skimmer

Hey guys i have a question


I have a tank (75 gal fish + coral) thats been running for almost 1 year, but today my protein skimmer broke...

So im wondering how long can my tank survive with no skimmer ? Cause my skimmer is still under warranty so im assuming for them to send me the parts or an exchange for my broken one will at least take 2-4 weeks ....

Is it dangerous for my creatures to go 1 month without skimmer ? Will anything die ?

Just watch your parameters and do extra pwcs. Should be fine for a few weeks. How are you stocked and what size tank?

ya lots of water changes and under feed, should be fine.
