I have a sump added on my 12 with a different pump, works great. just make sure you don't exceed what the locline can output, you may even want to split it depending on how big your pump is.

But I have it ball valved down a ton. I'm looking into getting a smaller pump, its just what I had laying around when I went to plumb the tank.
