pump help please need advice on what to buy

looking for the best pump QUIET pump for a 55 gallon tank...

a real good quiet pump..... putting a large tank in the bedroom

What is the pump's intended purpose/function?

I think its for putting oxygen in the tank...

I have bars that release oxygen in the tank a couple Bubble rocks as well

Its a 55 Gallon Tank...

Brother has a Tetra Whisper and I think the thing is loud....!!!
but he says it was cheap


I don't mind spending any amount of money on a Pump...
the tank is in a bedroom I just want the best that is quiet and puts out a
good amount of air..

I looked up JW Pet, Tetra, Echo, Aqueon etc....



IM lost have no idea what to get...

So you're just running some bubble rocks and airstones? I have an Azoo 5500 (I think that's the model), I got it at Dr Foster's and Smith. It wasn't even expensive and I think it's very quiet. I use it to run 2 10" air stones.
I have a Tetra Whisper 100 that cost quite a bit more and I think it's noisy.
