Hi all, I'm setting up a 700L aquaponics aquarium (indoors) and I want to use the solid pvc pressure line between the submersible pump and filter. It goes from the pump through the wall to the pressure filter in the laundry behind the aquarium, and I want it to reliable and leak free (don't really like the corrugated flexible hose)
The outlet on the pump is 25mm and the in and outs on the filter are 40mm with optional reducers down to 25mm. There will be approx 2.5 meters from the pump to the filter and the same back to the tank.
I know the pipe size can affect overall performance. So my question is, should I run 25, 32 or 40 mm?
The pump and filter are both 4500 litre/hour.

Cheers Graham
