Purple stuff on snails/rock/glass

my tank has been up for around a month and recently I've seen this purple stuff growing on the back glass/rock/snails, what is it? should I remove it?

That's a calcium based algae called Coralline. Many people like it because of the color. I wouldn't worry about it.
