which one do you prefer and why? you can post your answer or simply use the poll I made!:thanks::dance:
 
I prefer Scarlet Badis because even though these 2 species are very similar, scarlet badis aren't wild caught and are therefor able to sustain a good population in the wild, while sunfish are very hard to breed and are mostly wild caught. And I think SB look better :)
 
I've never kept sun fish but badis are very shy and are often difficult to feed. I have a small colony but to be honest they're rarely seen :(
 
The scarlet badis I've seen on the lists so far are all wild caught. Care wise they seem very similar, both doing best with live foods or frozen bloodworms

I like my scarlet badis, turned out with 3 males and 2 females so it stays interesting. They'll take frozen baby brine and bloodworms. I've introduced scuds to the tank and they also pick off baby pond snails.

Hmm, in my LFS they are captive bred. Guess it varies and al depends on where you're from.
