I just bought some new fish on Friday a six line wrasse and 2 green clown gobies. They are currently in a QT tank for observation. I have had ich problems in the past and that has made me paranoid about parasites. I would like to know if I should still do 1 treatment of clout to be safe?

I would not treat unless a problem presents itself. A normal QT should be 4 weeks and you should see signs of any problems before that time if there is one.

Slightly lowered salinity can help reduce stress in newly aquired fish but definately not lowered to a greater degree. 25-29 ppt would be okay though.

Cheers
Steve
