Aquarium Advice Freak
I was thinking about adding uv sterilizer to my qt tank. Normally its attached to my tank but I was thinking if I added to my qt tank it should reduce risk of pathogens. What do you think?

I would not do it but I would leave it on your main. I dont know how any meds in your QT would react with the UV. The best thing to do IMO would be to treat the QT and leave main fishless for 8 weeks. I have a UV also but they will only kill parasites that get trapped in the lighted chamber.
