I have 2 fish in a quarantine tank waiting to be added to my main tank. How long do I need to leave them there? They have been in the qt for 3 weeks now. Is it ok to move them to the main tank now or do I need to wait another? Also, what should I be looking for other than signs of ich?

I dont qt personally but I have heard 3 weeks is good. From what I know is that a diease may lay dormant of up to 2 weeks.

+1 to lowryder, I think it would be as long as you are comfortable QTing for. Just watch to make sure the fish is healthy and eating well... no bloating (that could be constipation though) or signs of other diseases Tropical Fish Disease Identification with pictures and cures.
