I just finished cycling a 5 gal tank and thinking of adding red neocaridina davidi shrimps also known as red cherry shrimps but I'm wondering that if i add other colors of neocaridina davidi shrimps, will the red cherries breed with other red cherries or are they not picky and will breed with other colors as well since they're the same genus?

If you look at cherry shrimp for sale online (like ebay) you'll see breeders selling mixes of all three - red, yellow, blue. They are bred in the same tanks, as I found out when I ordered a mix and, 4 months later, I had many more red, yellow, and blue shrimp. Did they stick to their own colors? I have no idea. But if you want different colors and want them to breed...your wish granted
