question with my Chaetomorpha

can somebody please ID the whitish thing growing on my algae. is it something harmful?

Hard to tell. Could be a sponge. Keep an eye on it and see how it grows.

I saw some of those on the chae. at the LFS. I think they are some kind of snail egg? lol im not an expert at id'ing but that's what i thought they were when i saw them at the store XD
