Questions from a new shrimp keeper!

Hey all, I'm new to shrimp keeping and was just wondering what I should look for in watching for healthy vs. unhealthy appearance and behavior? Everything I find is very generic info and I would like some advice from those with experience and the good people of AA! Thanks!

This may not be helpful but my RCS are either very active, well coloured and breeding........ Or dead! I don't ever detect a sickly shrimp.
