Recommendations for Blood Parrot Tank

I am interested in getting some blood parrots for my 65 Gallon tank. My preference would be to get 2 or 3, but it depends if you think I have enough space.

What are some other fish that could peacefully co-exist with some Blood Parrots? I tend to like south american cichlids, but don't want constant battles in my tank.

In a 65g I would stick with 2 blood parrots and with some small dithers but that's about it. They can hit the 8-10" range taking up the majority of your space. If you don't stock anything else and your filtration and water change schedule is good you could try 3.
