Red Tail Barracuda

anybody keep these fish, and have any insight on them
i have a 75 gallon tank i want to set up soon and am going through stocking ideas, if you have any other suggestion for my 75 let me know

Ah, the problem with common names. True 'barracuda' are SW, but what Moose9 is referring to is Acestrorhynchus sp (usually Acestrorhynchus falcatus), which is commonly referred to in the trade as the 'red tailed barracuda', and it is a freshwater fish from South America.[/i]

yes this is true
 
agreed... bichirs can be nasty fish when they're bigger, and should be able to hold the 'barracuda' on its own
