So I am getting hardwood done upstairs (that is pretty much done) and aside from some dust in the air, there hasn't really been much effect on my tanks.

However, I am going to be getting the hardwood on the ground floor recoated and as such there will be a day or two where there's going to be some significant fumes from an oil-based urethane. Is this a problem for my tanks and if so, what should I do to minimize the exposure?

Kinda getting cold up here to leave the windows open, overnight anyway.

As it turns out we were able to use a water-based product, still gives off a bit of VOC's, but no where near as much as oil-based stuff. It's being done now so hopefully all will be ok.
