Hi all,

I am thinking of getting a RO/DI unit, but have some concerns about installation. Are these things generally easy to install and uninstall? I rent my apartment so I can't put a permanent fixture on the plumbing.

Thanks for any advice!

I have been using mine for months now, uninstalled. It is small enough that I can sit it on the kitchen counter, and hook it up to my faucet. When I am done, I unhook it and store it. Try to store it with water in the filters, though. Storing it dry will shorten the filter life.

Only thing needed might be a threaded (on the outside) kitchen faucet. But yes, you can take it down easily. At least mine works that way.
