Ro/di water

Is bottled water the same thing? I have a 2.5 gallon nano reef and was wondering if bottled water would work instead of buying ro/di water.

bottled DISTILLED water will work.. Not bottled spring water..

Ok, what if I treat it with aqua-safe?

i would assume if your gonna use aqua safe you could just use regular tap water instead of buying bottled water? Maybe your tap water is real bad i guess?

My local grocery store sells Poland spring water and Poland spring distilled water.. And they both cost the same.. like 50 cents a gallon

You can use distilled water without treating it at all

That's a plus-however my water I believe is fine. I just got a snail today and he is doing well. I was just curious about the ro/di water. I'm starting my tank up. It's only been running for a little over a week

I would only use ro/di water. Bottle water of any kind will still have phosphate in it and would help feed green hair algae.

That's not an issue, I've got snails...I just want livestock to live
