I purchased some ro water last week to have on hand to add as my tank evaporates. The water sat in an airtight container for roughly 9 days. I opened it today to add some and it smells bad. Should I through it out and only purchase what I will immediately use, or is it okay to add the smelly water?

Yeah, as a matter of fact, it does have a bit of a rotten egg smell.
I'll through it on the garden instead and get some new tomorrow.

That's what I thought. Thanks!
I guess I should only purchase as needed, huh.

Get rid of it. You may want to consider saving up for an RO/DI unit for your home. The problem with store-bought water is that you have no quality control. When you filter it at home you know exactly how god the water is and when to change filter membranes. Besides, it beats the heck out of lugging water home from the store.
