How do I determine which rocks are safe for aquarium use?

Take a bite, if your tongue turns orange than they're good to go.. what rocks?? Pour vinegar on them, if they fizz they'll jack up the ph.

Vinegar is not strong enough to detect all calcareous rocks, you may need a stronger acid.
