I need help about a week ago my cobomba and my moneywort started to grow roots out of different areas of the shoot and some of the moneywort started to turn black. Recently I had a huge diatom bloom that is on the receding end .

My parameters are
Amonia. .25
Trite. .25
Trate. Between 10 and 20
Ph. 7.3

I do run pressurized co2 through a reactor and get a nice lime green solution in my drop checker and dose pps-pro daily just started last week I do separate the nitrates as rivercats suggested.

This is a 55 gal tank with a marineland c220 and a marineland penguin 200 with out the bio wheel.

Any insight would be appreciated.

They are called adventitious roots or "aerial" roots by some. They are normal for stem plants that get nutrients from the water column as well as the substrate. If they get so many as to be bothersome, you can carefully pull them off with no real detriment to the plant. When I went to CO2 my stem plants started growing even more of them. OS.
