Safe for tank?

I want to make a mosswall by wedging some xmass-moss in between two layers of this material

Don't worry i'll smooth the sharp edges down. But is this safe to put in the aquarium? It's some sort of chick-wire. Let me know

That looks to be a plastic coated steel. Unless it's stainless, I'd say no, not safe. You should be able to find some plastic mesh pretty cheap which would be safe.

Maybe some plastic canvas from a craft store? It comes in several thicknesses and colors and is very easy to work with IME.
