I was reading another thread that I had posted about adding a small amount of aquarium salt to my FW planted tank. I've been using 5ml per 5 gallons and my fish have been fine. However, I've tried to introduce 2 Rams to my tank and they both were gone in two days. :( The guys at petland say they don't even measure their salt in FW they just take a beta cup (how they said it) and scoop up Salt and throw it in. There tanks look great and next to nothing dead in any of them. They even have the same amounts in their Goldfish aquariums. Is this good or bad? Any opinions would be great -

Allright guys thanks.... i DO really appreciate you two responding to me so quickly. You're always there! Salt is officiallly going to slowly be siphoned out through my PWC's. Yellow eye tang has fishie dreams. Whatever! :onfire:
