Sand bed!

Have a 24g jbj nano and the color of my sand is blackish greyish.. It was giving to me that way but I don't want that color. I would like white sand.

Is there anything I can do to swap it? Can I just take out the sand and pour new one or will it mess up the system of the tank?

Siphon out the old sand in half sections ans slide the new sand down a PVC to where you want it.

So just take the sound out in parts? Or can I take all of it off the same days?
