seen something growning on my rock

Found something growning on my rock and i realized tonight while using a flashlight that it had a polyp so i tuned the lights on quick and grabbed a quick snap of it see if you can help me id it. if i had to describe it, it looks like a purple/pinkish egg shape with one polpy or mouth on top.

proabably a sponge, they come and go with nitrates and stuff ect...

Yes I know thought about that but this has a mouth / polyp growing on the top of it.

Have you poked it? If you poke it and it doesn't retract into itself then it is a sponge and of course it will feel spongy. It looks like sponge and sponges can have a little hole that they bring water in to filter it. I have a couple that look similar to that but they have one long stringy tentacle that comes out of the top by the opening.
