Pictures aren't good enough to be able to tell. Can you see a gonopodium right in front of the anal fin on any of them? This picture shows a pair of Bolivians. See the difference in the gonopodium? the females is rounder and wider and a more circular shape, the males is a lot thinner and pointed kinda like a sharpened pencil point.

Female on left, male on right.

I have 4 Bolivians as well, mine hardly stay still enough to actually get a good picture of them to let others take a guess at what sex they are. I made myself crazy trying to sex mine. Honestly you will probably be better off just buying a good many and seeing if two pair up; IF you want to breed them that is.

Breeding would be nice but I'm honestly not attempting to breed so ill stick with two for now

Just be prepared that it could happen IF you managed to get a male and female and IF they happen to pair up. But you could always let nature take its course and let whatever happens happen.

If I had to guess I'd say the one in the first picture is a female and the one in the second is a male, but I agree, need better pics to be sure.

i put a video on youtube showing them they are not liking the camera to much

if youll go check it out its the same username and title as the forum

Does this help

It's still hard for me to tell, but I'm no sexing expert. Maybe someone else with more experience will know for sure.

lol mine were a lot easier to sex. They might have been a little older though. The male is much larger, much more colorful and has longer fins, but these two I'm having problems with. Is there one of them that chases the other at times? My male will chase the female sometimes, unless they are spawning, then the female will chase the male away from the spot she picked out.

Well i just picked up one when i went to the store. I hadnt even planned on that yet but this was a gorgeous fish.
