So i am planning to get some shrimp (yay). The botia skunk loaches I have are bottom feeders, and also kinda aggressive (not yay) As shrimp obviously walk around on the ground, I am a bit concerned. Should i see if my local petsmart will take them back or what? I have a few nipped fins, and they are kind of inactive, only coming out to nip fins or eat, which is not what I want. Should i get rid of them? And how if so?

Side note: I forgot to mention how many i have, I have 2 of them. They are both rougly 1.5 inches long. :thanks: sorry for the tons of threads, getting back into fish :)

Loaches like schools. That's probably the reason for the nipping. If you want shrimp have plenty of hiding places because in a community tank they will just be food without them.
