Should I keep it

This aqua plant started growing through the holes of our overflow skimmer.

Kids think it looks good, but we are worried it will block the over flow.

Put it in your fuge where it belongs..
Plant is a macro algae called Calurpae racemorsa
It can become invasive and root around corals and such.
 
keep the plant. its already sensing out roots to filter the water. Live Plants always benefit water quality.
 
Unless you have fish that eat it as fast as it grows I would put it down in the sump, Caulerpa racemorsa (green grape) grows like a weed at a high rate and reproduces quickly .
if you like this type of plant there is a similar plant that's not evasive it is called botryocladia most know it as red grape caulerpa even though it's not a species of caulerpa .
