Should I test my water when the lights are on ?

I'm doing a water test, just wondering if the test will have the same results with the lights off or on ? I got lots of plants so im thinking the results my be different after the lights are on for a few hours. So what's the best time to test your water ???

IMO it doesn't matter when you do testing except for ph if your running CO2 which you'd want to do in the morning before CO2 comes on.
