Hi im new here and this is my first ever forum thread. My goldfish Angel has been acting strange lately so there's probably something wrong
Symptoms
- bottom sitting
- lost appetite
- keeps "falling on his/her side"
Parameters (at least the ones I can get right now)
ammonia - 0
ph - 6.6~
I've had Angel for 2 and a half-ish months and at first he/she only did it sometimes and would go back to normal when i approached the tank. At first I thought angel was just one of those goldfish that had a lethargic personality like some i've heard.
but then it started happening more often and I thought it might've just been stress from the newly installed lights and added plants. Besides, her tankmates Puppy and Dusuu were acting just fine.
Then this morning I found Angel flipped of her side. it looked like she was making an effort to swim straight but kept tipping over. She hasn't been eating for about 2 days so now i definitely knew something was wrong. I'll do a 45% water change and see if that helps
