Silver ball??

This silver ball started growing on my live rock awhile back and I'm not sure what it could possibly be?

+1 on bubble algae. My friend found a purple one in his tank. I'd only seen green before that

Try to remove it gently or siphon it out, you want to avoid popping it or it'll spread and you'll have a huge problem on your hands.

It is bubble algae if you pop the silver balls the spores will spread all over the tank try and siphon it out without popping it. Good youtube videos on removing it check it out!

Ive had red bubble agae before that had red specs in them with atinics only on. Ive had a little if the green. Ive always just removed it carefully from the base without popping it. I use a small pair if tweezers.
