Silver dollars with plants?

I bought a bunch of plants for my tank. They did very well and I got a bunch of fish. There was around 20 fish in it (55 gal) but then the fish I got from petco of course had several diseases that literally killed almost all my fish. All I have is a silver dollar and a few other tiger barbs and such. But now the plants have holes and pieces missing. How do I get the silver not to eat all the plants?!?!

Silver dollars are herbivores so they are going to eat plants. You need to return it.
