When I got my tank, I also bought 2 blue LED moonlight things. They're not as bright as I hoped, but the effect is very cool. Especially since by dumb luck, I placed them over the air stone.

At any rate, I have a timer thing, but all it does is turn off the hood lamp, and turn the LED's on.

Does anyone have a suggestion on how to cross fade the light? Or anyone know of a better light solution?

Specs: 29 gallon tank, 30" by just over 12"s (exterior dims).

You can't dim CF or NO lights. They are either on or off. The only way you would be able to do this is if you put several lights in the hood and had each one turn on seperately.

Kaz, you definitely just left skid marks on the bald spot in the back of my head.

You've got to explain that one.
