Snail container

I have a puffer that I feed snails which I keep in a glass jar. The problem is that when I open the glass jar it stinks very bad, the water is gross, and I can't reach the bottom to get snails out. Does anyone have something else they keep feeder snails in? I don't want to keep them in the puffer tank because they will breed.

buy the 2.5 gallon tank from petco and a sponge filter

The only problem with this is I already have two 2.5 gallon tanks in my room so there's not much room to keep another one. If I put a plastic breeder/fry net will they be able to go through the holes?

change the water every week, which will help with the waste in the water. there is probably dead snails in the jar since it smells. Use long tweezers or a tong with thin tip to take the snail out.

Put snails in one of those two tanks what is in them? Snails can be fun to watch
