It's getting colder out and I have three small unpowered snail tanks. How important is temperature to snails? At night the temp has been dropping and I dont have heaters in the tanks. The room I keep them in for natural light also gets cooler in the fall/winter. I have MTS, Mystery, Ramshorn, and common pond snails.

Heres some info I found from the above link on apple snails for anyone who might be interested...

"Apple snails are tropical animals that require temperatures between 18 and 28°C (65-82°F) to stay in good condition. If the temperatures drops below 10°C (50°F) the apple snail becomes completely inactive and will die within a few days. Take your apple snail out of the pond when the temperature drops below 18°C/65°F in the winter season."

I'll move them to a better spot this winter.
