Snails

Well I never had snails before and im thinking on buying snails but.. The think is that some of them have too much babies I don't want them to take over my tank... What kind of snails are best?? Should I buy a single one.??? Anything u know about these creatures please tell me I will appreciate ur cooperation.. =^.^=

Most snails will multiply very fast BUT mystery , and Nerite . Usually 1 snail per 10g is ok

I have 5 Nerite snails in my 27 gallon planted. I think if you really like them you can add more then two.

typically only pest snails will take over a tank but my mystery snails also lay eggs often in my 55 gallon planted but never take over. just depends on what you like.
