Hello everyone. I have a 38 gallon tank with a Fluval 305 and a small Aqueon powerhead. Was just looking around online and stumbled upon a Fluval spraybar. Any pros or cons and reasons why a spraybar would be more beneficial to the standard outflow?

Only to disperse the flow throughout the tank versus from one area. Disperse meaning that the water will flow out with less flow but be more even across the entire bar, versus as a solid stream. In a planted tank, it is nice to have the spray bar just under the water surface. That way it agitates the surface but does not cause too much turbulence.
