Stocking question?

I currently have a 20G High cycling, it's running on a Tetra Whisper 30 filter with a Vivaqua 50 watt heater. Here are the branches I plan on putting in it along with some anacharis https://imgur.com/1vcsybo. Here is the tank itself with its old heater https://imgur.com/pjann66f. Here is my planned stocking:

- 1 Betta (he's currently in a small 2 gallon)
Or either -6 peppered Corydoras or -7 Corydora Hasbrosus (Salt and pepper)

I'd prefer the peppered corydora but I don't know how they'd do In a 20 gallon? Are salt and pepper cory's too small to be housed with the Betta?

Betta's generally don't bother cory cats. I've kept very small pygmy cory cats with them. Plus that is a big tank and the betta will have a ton of room. Every once in a while you'll just get an ill tempered Betta that doesn't want anything in it's tank but most of the time cory's are tolerated well.
